Sweet and Savory Blues
Blues with on Thursday 11:30am-2pm.
Bringing you all the flavors of the blues, from the sweet and mellow to the savory and swingin'. Sugar, and spice and everything blue. Featuring new and old favorites with second helpings of toe-tappin' blues 'n roll. And for dessert, there's always some soulfull sweetness. With the daily specials on the rare and unusual, bringing you songs from artists you've never heard of, or different songs from artists you know. And as a special treat, catch the blues platter featured artist, highlighting local upcoming shows.
Blues Connection
Blues with on Wednesday 11:30am-2pm.
Blues is a feeling...it doesn't belong to any particular time or place. The traditional sounds are woven into today's music: Memphis Minnie, Big Time Sarah, T-Bone Walker, Ali Farka Toure, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Grady Gaines...you'll hear all these and more on your Blues Connection.
Dave's Blues
Blues with on Tuesday 11:30am-2pm.
Playing Blues and related music from about the time blues went electric up to the early 1970's. Mostly things that were issued on 78 rpm records or 45s'. Playing all styles and regions,with a special emphasis on obscure artists and all that wonderfull "small label"stuff!! Playing any & everything I can find from "Everybody"!!!
